The Foundation envisions a Namibia free from tuberculosis, and seeks to contribute to that vision through increasing TB awareness, championing advocacy campaigns, developing strategic educational programs and supporting innovation and research. The vision of the organization is to better support, identify and treat TB patients, while ensuring high quality care and treatment to people with tuberculosis through robust and efficient advocacy efforts to break down stigma and discrimination at all levels. Furthermore, the foundation commits to support and assist the Namibia National TB and Leprosy program to reduce the burden of tuberculosis and tuberculosis-associated disability in Namibia through robust and sustainable advocacy efforts.
One of the central pillars of the TB Free Foundation is advocating for equal access to health care in Namibia. The foundation’s slogan “Breaking barriers to END TB” speaks to its commitment to ensuring no patient is left behind, and that all the ‘missing patients’ are identified, tested and initiated on the proper treatment regimen in a timely manner.
Advocacy and Care: We work tirelessly to ensure that TB patients receive high-quality care and treatment. Our advocacy efforts focus on breaking down stigma and discrimination at all levels of society.
Research and Innovation: We develop and support innovative strategies, research, and community-based approaches to raise awareness and improve TB care.
Equity in Health: We advocate for equitable access to healthcare for all, especially for those who are marginalized and at greater risk of being lost to care.
